OUR APPROACH

Our Model

Community Systems Strengthening
& Peer-to-Peer Delivery

CYAN Kenya's work is grounded in Community Systems Strengthening (CSS) and a peer-to-peer delivery model. We work through and with existing community structures rather than creating parallel ones.

CYAN Kenya believes that when adolescents and young people have access to accurate information, quality services, economic opportunities, safe spaces, and meaningful participation in decision-making, they are better able to exercise their rights and improve their wellbeing. We achieve this through community systems strengthening, peer-led engagement, and evidence-based advocacy — with young people as agents of change, not recipients of services.
