We provide career development mentorship in schools to choose and work on the most promising careers that can lead to creating independence through job creation after school and not waiting for employment. This will enable youths to be own bosses in the modern economy. This is done through; computer literacy training,
CYAN KENYA has collaborated with LVCT health in the dreams program to offer HIV/AIDs infection and prevention intervention like ‘SHUGA’ curriculum that equips the adolescent and young women on women under the DGREAMS program and managed to graduate 500 girls from the intervention.
Social Norms, Gender Inequity And Sexual Gender Based Violence (Sgbv)
CYAN Kenya believes that community level action combined with national and global advocacy and structural change can lead to change accelerated good work geared towards combating gender based violence. The organization implements the following activities to help deal with gender based violence in the community.
CYAN Kenya Works with Government stakeholders, NGOs and other partners; it also advocates for and supports the efficient delivery of a holistic, youth-friendly health-care package of services. These include:
